PT8
My dreams were pleasant this night. I dreamed about the days when I was still a human living back at the old house where Stu lives. During the years of high school, in my classes I got an average grade. In 2010 Stu and I had some of the same classes. He was in grade 11, I was in grade 12. I was taking some of the grade 11 courses just for fun, otherwise I would have had spares during 2nd and 4th period. Having that much free time would not really be fun especially if you can't go home. It's really boring to sit around doing nothing all day. But, thanks to my choices, I managed to get Stu as a classmate and that was a definite advantage. I was dreaming about this one particular Art Class when Stu and I had decided to start a drawing competition to see who could....something disturbed me from my dream... yelling.., screaming.., who would be screaming?
Then it hit me like a fist to the face, that was the voice of Al and he sounded like he was in trouble. I immediately woke up to find Al pinned to the cave's wall by the neck. A new dragon that looked vary similar to Al was holding him there and snarling fiercely. I knew this new dragon was Ictus. I had to do something fast for it looked like AL was running out of breath so I jumped into action.
"LEAVE HIM ALONE" I yelled at Ictus as I swung a clawed fist at his face sending Ictus flying into the other side of the cave with enough force to send some stalagmites to the floor.
"Thank you Flame" Al managed to say.
""No probl-" was all I was able to say before I was hit on the left side of my jaw, sending me flying into the cave wall. I heard a rib crack from the blow, my sight became blurry and I felt dazed. I tried to fight off the fuzzy feeling knowing that Al needed my help but there was nothing I could do as my sight completely went out. However I somehow managed to remain conscious.
All I could do was try to recover from Ictus's blow to the jaw and the crash into the cave wall. For now, I could only hear what the two where saying.
"Ictus! You will pay for that!" Al yelled at Ictus.
"YOU WILL DIE FIRST!" was the reply I heard directed to Al from Ictus.
The next thing I heard was a massive crunch, as someone was hit. After that I heard a moan that could only have been from Al since it followed immediately after. After that I could tell that they were fully engaged in a fist fight just by the sounds of bodies hitting the walls and floor. They were really load and sounded painful.
Soon my sight started to come back. I shook my head to try and clear it of the massive headache I had gotten from the blow. ALL that I could make out was a torrent of flame being shot at Ictus and from the sounds of Ictus's yells of pain it must have been over 12000 degrees. Yet, despite that, Ictus kept on running towards Al and knocked Al hard on his tail. As I started running towards Al to try and help him I saw Ictus deliver a fatal blow to Al's neck snapping it like a twig. I was too late. I stopped horrified and not sure of what to do.
That's when I heard Al's final words,
"Flame… Run."
I turned around and booked it out of that cave as fast as I could,

PT 8 ALL ALONE
As I ran from that cave I had no idea where I would go. All I could hear was Ictus roaring his victory over the only other dragon I knew and felt I ever would know. That's when it all started. The crashing sounds behind me as Ictus was now after me and I had to get out of here, "what is that that's making the crashing sound?" I thought to myself. As I turned my head around I could see a black cloud of smoke but behind that I could also see trees being knocked down as if they where nothing bigger than toothpicks.
"IT'S YOUR TURN TO DIE!!!" was yelled as a tree was flung forwards. I knew this was Ictus.
That's also when I noticed a second dragon coming in from behind Ictus. I had a slight feeling that I knew who this second one was.
""NOT TODAY. THIS ONE BELONGS TO ME. KEEP GOING BOY!!!" yelled the second dragon. This was definitely Thock but why on earth would he want to take down Ictus? Either way I was not going to stick around. Whichever one wins, if I did stick around, would more than likely kill me afterwards and it would be the stronger of the two who survived.
As the sky darkened I looked up. Storm clouds where forming fast and blood red lightning started to flash. Most of the storm was still behind me. I took to the sky to try and get further away. I knew I could certainly fly faster than I could travel on foot.
I don't know how long I was flying but it seemed like hours as I flew deeper into the Appalachian mountain range. When I could feel that my wings where about to quit on me, I had to land. I knew they where going to be sore the next day but at least I felt relatively safe having gone so far. Once I landed, or more accurately, collapsed on the ground I could not go any further. I just decided to curl up and try to fall asleep. Al's death kept running through my mind. I knew life was going to be hard, but I had not expected it to be this hard. How I wish I was still human. At least as a human I knew what my future would be and also, I did not have two evil dragons after me.
Ru Dies .... didn't see that coming, really sad
Other then trying to stop him from murduring al he didnt do bull to ictus
On a side note... Life as a dragon is indeed hard, but it surely is more thrilling than that of a human.
the end of this story is a long ways off but what happens next? that's for me to know and you to find out mwahahahaha!
